The Coldest Night of the Year is a winterrific family-friendly walk to raise money for local charities serving people experiencing hurt, hunger, and homelessness!  The pandemic is isolating us from one another but it can't stop our commitment to step up for those in our community struggling and live out God’s love!

We walk through the cold and dark on February 26, 2022 to declare our concern for people who have no home and take shelter in nooks and crannies.  We walk for those whose days are a battle to house and feed their families and whose nights are filled with fear and frustration.  We walk for those driven from home by violence and abuse. And we walk for people overwhelmed by isolation, guilt, and despair.

We walk humbly, realizing that anyone can lose their footing and then lose everything else.  Each step we take brings someone closer to safety, health and home, as we partner with REGENERATION OUTREACH COMMUNITY in Brampton and CALEDON COMMUNITY SERVICES in Bolton to support their commitment and work in peoples’ lives.

This year the event is virtual - which means we're not gathering as a large group at a central location but rather you can walk a 2km or 5km route in your own neighbourhood on February 26th at your own time that day.

Nashville Road has a Team that you can join!  Thank to the Women's Connect + Grow who are leading us!  The Team name is: NRCC CONNECT & GROW LADIES & FRIENDS

They're walking on Saturday morning at 11am a 2KM route that begins and ends from Holy Family School at 61 Allan Drive in Bolton.  If you'd like to support them and the Coldest Night of the Year initiative physically then you can join in on Saturday morning and/or if you want to support them financially - just click the Team Link above or check out CNOY.org and search for NRCC CONNECT & Grow Ladies & Friends.
