"let us not love with words or speech but with actions and in truth."
1 John 3 verse 18
The people of Jamaica have been hard hit by Hurricane Melissa and the aftermath is immediate as well as long term. There is need for much support. Barrels are being sent with supplies such as:
- Rice
- Sugar
- Oil
- Toothpaste
- Soap
- Canned Food
- Cornmeal
- Bathroom and Facial Tissue
If you would like to bring in any of these items to the church's building - there will be a barrel in the lobby for the next few Sundays.
If you would like to give a monetary donation, here are two of the many recommended organizations that are helping:
Samaritians Purse
Canada Helps
As a church family we will continue to look for ways to support the Jamaican people and raise awareness of other opportunities to help when the initial response has ended and the recovery needs continue.
