Party’s are fun, joy-filled - they mean we’re celebrating something. The Beastie Boys sang that we have to “fight for your right to party” and while their understanding of “party” was probably different than Jesus - He would agree! Jesus saw parties as an avenue to meeting Him and experiencing real and lasting peace, wholeness and joy!
