I’m guessing at some point most of us find ourselves feeling underqualified for the task at hand. I remember as a new father - not feeling at all qualified to change a diaper - let alone raise a child.  Perhaps most of us can relate to Joseph as one who is underqualified.

Your situation is most likely different but you might feel afraid or apprehensive about the future or you feel inadequate to take care of your family like you think you should ... or feel underqualified to do the job you were hired to do or you feel in over your head with responsibilities that were not part of your plan…

Why would God choose someone like Joseph to play the role of Jesus’ earthly father?   Isn’t that the type of people God chooses?  The most unlikely folks to do the biggest things. It seems like those are the ones He always picks because He is a God who will never give up on us.
