Everyone is interested in their future - it’s the destination most of us focus on, but there are two realities about the future - first, we don't know what it's going to be, and secondly, we can't control it. Theologian Søren Kierkegaard said - “Life can only be understood backwards; but it must be lived forwards.” Which means - if you are afraid for your future, you don't have a present.
So, we should definitely be interested in what God has to say about our future. God knows what will happen; His plan for our future is a good one and He’ll be with us every step of the way … we're just asked to trust or put faith in Him to enter it. But when we trust - He promises to be with us - to provide a way out when tempted and support us when we face trouble.
