Do you ever wish God would straight up just talk to you and tell you what you are supposed to do - which way you are to go? Reading bible stories - it seems like God would just talk to people and tell them which direction to go, so ... why not now? Can't He just give me the roadmap? It would be a lot easier if He just showed me the destination and then I could stop bugging Him!
It's easy to get stuck waiting for some vision of what the whole picture will look like, and afraid of going the wrong direction because He won't show me everything all at once, we don't even take my first step.
The reality is - God does keep His promise to guide us - but His desire is being in relationship with us - not simply being a roadmap.
