Humans have a unique ability to notice when something is out of place or not quite what we think should be.  It explains why we like those "find 10 things different about these photos" type games.  However that ability has its drawbacks as we tend to focus or fixate on what is wrong in an attempt to diagnose the reasons behind it.  We do that so we can avoid it happening in the future or move through it quickly with as little suffering as possible.

The problem then becomes we are so focused on what is wrong - we miss out on what is actually right.  In our Desert seasons - we often miss what God is making right because we only see what is wrong.  What we focus on gets bigger.  In this week's teaching we looked at Jesus answer to one of the key questions we ask to try and explain those difficult seasons - Is God angry with me?  Jesus answer offers relief and hope!
